We are not a “typical” promotional products company. Our roots are not based in this industry. We are creative professionals who have experience in politics, government, big business, small business, e-commerce business. Our educational backgrounds include degrees in communications, business, home economics, micro-biology. We’ve served on boards of directors, been volunteers, worked on many fund raising campaigns, planned special events, developed direct mail pieces, even have served as a volunteer fire fighter.
The one element that all of these experiences have in common – is the importance of effective communication. Making sure that the message to be communicated hits a cord with target market. The target market includes – employees, vendors, clients, customers, general public, etc.
Since 1983, we have brought our unique insights to the promotional products industry. It has never been our mission to “just sell stuff.” Our focus has been on identifying the right 3-dimensional item to carry the message. In the beginning, we spent considerable time searching for products. Way back in the early ‘80s it was not easy to find out what items were available. Over time, we have altered our focus from finding “everything” to limiting the search to products that are of a good quality, illustrate the logo or message appropriately, use quantity needed to identify products that are cost effective; work to ensure that clients are able to get the biggest bang for their budget. “When it matters”…The WIDGET Source – we take pride in our ability to identify meaningful strategies to fit your communication needs. Whether it is an optic crystal engraved trailer truck as a parting gift to a CEO who brought new brands to market; or imprinted band aids announcing a fund raising campaign for nurses, or imprinted pocket notebooks which can replace brochures…The WIDGET Source respects the importance of the message; the moment of delivery; the moment of acceptance of the item. When all three points are connected…it’s a beautiful thing. |
